Owned by the Kavanagh Family and managed by Dave Kavanagh  Ecklands Sport Horses was established In 2005 as a Sales Yard aimed primarily at preparing young Irish Bred Horses for competition and eventual sale to the professional & Sport market at home and across Europe.

We have always bred horses on our home farm and continue to do so with the emphasis now on the production of top quality horses for the higher levels of sport.

We have continued to support Irish Bred Sport horses but in an effort to offer our clients top quality at all times we have, since 2008  sourced our Stallions from European warmblood stocks and crossed them with our superb Irish Bred mares to produce the modern Irish Sport Horse that combines the best of european & Irish.

Our Aim is to offer quality young Sport Horses For Sale with only the best being selected based on breeding, confirmation, temperament and ability. Our young stock are all started under saddle at our home farm and will start competing at four years of age. We offer top quality young stock from foals to three year olds as well as our competition ready older horses.

We offer excellent trial facilities in a professional and friendly environment and will advise all potential buyers on horses suitable for their needs.
